Be A Rainbow In Someone Else's Cloud

To be the rainbow in someone’s cloud means to cultivate loving kindness as a daily practice in your life. It means tuning in to your heart, practicing empathy and using that empathy to connect to the people around you in a meaningful way. We all have the opportunity to be someone’s rainbow. All of us have days when the dark clouds and the rain do not seem to go away. I am sure you have met people who were there for you during those times. These people are your rainbows.

It's all about kindness, purity of the heart, unselfishness, humility and the joy of giving. Don't underestimate the impact that one small act from you can have in other people's lives. Anything, from a simple smile to wise advice, can help people face their negative situation and find ways to come back from it. Not only will you impact others in a positive way but you also give yourself a purpose outside of your own needs, which brings fulfilment and ultimately happiness for you too. When we are kind to others we learn that we matter, that we are powerful, and what we do on a daily basis really does have an impact on the world around us.

When people have a problem, their mind tricks them, all they can see is the problem or more problems associated with it. They can't find the solution even if it's near them. It happens to us all! People can be in a bad place seeing dark in every direction they look, there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. But you can provide them the light, you can be the force that makes them see there is something positive to smile about that specific situation.

Rainbows don’t replace clouds; they simply shine through a fraction of them to say “I’m here.”
