Empty Your Cup Be Open to New Information and Change

In this world of information and technology, we are easily overwhelmed by the constant influx of scientific studies, breaking news, and even spiritual revelations that fill our bookshelves, social media and in-boxes. No sooner have we decided what to eat or how to think about the universe, a new study or book comes out confounding our well-researched opinion. After a while, we may be tempted to dismiss or ignore new information so to stabilise and fix our point of view, and this is understandable.

Perhaps realizing that we are far from knowing reality or far from having it all figured out, is key to having an open mind. The recent pandemic is evidence that we must be agile in both our thinking and our actions. No sooner will we have reached some kind of stability, it will be time to open again to new information, new skills and new way of thinking, which is inherently destabilizing. But if we see ourselves as surfers riding the incoming waves of information and inspiration, always open and willing to attune ourselves to the big wave, we will see how blessed we are to have this opportunity to play on the waves and, most of all, to enjoy the ride. Ashton runs 5-12 day NLP Combo programmes to help you achieve mental and emotional agility besides equipping you with skills to communicate with impact and coach others to be a best version of themselves.
